Welcome one, welcome all to the Thendara Guild House. We are the renunciates, also known as the free amazons, that reside in the lands of Darkover, the world of the bloody sun. Our origns come from the merge of two groups of women, the priestesses of Avarra and the warriors of the sisterhood of the sword. We are a guild of women bound only by oath as a sisterhood of mutual responsibility. Our allegiance is to each other rather then to family, clan, caste or any man. We are exempt from the usual legal restrictions and protections. We provide the women of Darkover an alternative to their socially restrictive lives if they come and seek it.

I am Kindra n'ha Mhari and this is the Thendara Guild House, near the lake of Hali, the old city & the trade city in the lowlands of Valeron. You probably came to us going south on the great north road. On behalf of my guild sisters I welcome you. You may look around and if you choose so you may join us. We welcome all our guild sisters from other houses as well.
